With a variety of ways to dig in and get involved, TREE MUSKETEERS is a one-stop shop for anyone interested in giving back to the youth-led environmental movement. For people looking to occasionally pop in consider TLC for Trees events held the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month or join our Tree Care Team during the week.
For youth interested in becoming future leaders and decision makers of TREE MUSKETEERS consider participating in one or all of the LEADership courses, including the Youth Management Series, Public Speaking or Youth Planting Supervisor Training. Youth who participate in one of these courses become eligible to joining the Youth Management Team. After successfully serving on the Youth Management Team for one year you can apply to sit on the Board of Director and even become President.
For adults interested in serving youth in leadership roles consider joining the Adult Partner Team. The Adult Partner Team consists of adults with experience from all backgrounds committed to empowering young people to be the leaders of today. Simply attend an Adult Partner Orientation, see calendar for dates, then jump in the backseat and prepare to navigate.
Adults looking for something different should consider helping at The Habitat, a restoration project on Clutter’s Bluff. Help remove non-native ice plant and restore native vegetation to the sand dune overlooking LAX. Opportunities are available Mondays and Fridays, visit our calendar for dates and to register.
